Default Explosives

Very often i put down my c4 somewhere then run away and i forget where i put it (no i don't have add). I want some type of indicater on only the c4/claymore/mine 's minimap that shows where that person put down their explosives. It would be easier

I'd like to be able to pick up an inadvertently dropped C4 (you can't do that can you?)

Both would be fine additions I think. They give you the ability to pick up mines... why not c4 2? It was just another one of them features that EA should have added but just didn't, for reasons that elude all of us on the planet.

i think the person who dropped it can pick it up, or antoher person but it takes longer or something. not mines tho, they need to stay there.

I know Engineers can pick up mines and even disarm C4. However, say I've dropped 3 C4s on a radar dish. I only needed two. I want to be able to pick up one and continue on. I can't I have to waste a C4. :/

An engineer can disarm (remove) C4? I'm going to verify this tonight but I don't believe an engineer can do anything with C4. I'm hoping you're right which would make the engineer kit more useful.

The Spec ops should be supplied with some 'wire cutters' or something (similar to an engineers wrench) so that he can pick up C4 and add it back to his inventory.

Engineers can and should handle mines (deploying and removing) and leave C4 handling (deploying and removing) to the Spec Ops.

Yeah but we've already had that discussion (snipers get to use their death ray to kill people, engys get to bash ppl with wrenches, assault gets to hit ppl with their huge gun, medic beats ppl to death with medic bag, etc...)

Although I STILL love defibulator kills to this day.

I checked it out. In SP mode, I spawned as an Spec Op and placed some C4. I committed suicide and came back as an engineer, took out the wrench and tried to remove the C4... Nothin happens. Once a C4 is dropped, that's it. It stays until it is detonated or the person who dropped it is killed.

Just whip out your spanner (ooooh er missus) and use it on the mines. It takes a second or two to remove though, so be careful as you're a bit of an easy target while doing it.

Dolphin diving is where players press jump key and prone key at almost the same time...making them look as if they swim thru the air for a moment.

For those wondering about this term.
