That's the thing, using the shortcut fix you get to see even less of the battlefield than you would running in 4:3. Check out the screen shots on the link I posted, especially this one. It really was a crap effort at widescreen by Dice.

Well, maybe with the new patch it will enable widescreen, like they did for BF 2142.
