Default Here's your patriot act part two

YouTube - University of Florida student Tasered at Kerry forum

Once again Tasers are being used by lazy police officers to make their job easier. The suspect was pinned against the floor by several police officers and yet they still shocked him. I really don't see why this was necessary. The guy was being a complete tool but he could have easily been restrained using conventional methods.

I think it's ridiculous that Tasers are becoming routinely used in gaining suspect compliance. They're less lethal not non lethal and can cause death (Egg shell skull).

I must say that i find it pathetic that he needed to be tased. 5 cops, and he needed a taser? Ive seen Steve Erwin and co. hold down a crocodile without the need to resort to weaponry, and this guy is a little rake - in handcuffs no less.

I kind of try to rationalise the situation. It is his fault for being an idiot, but i really dont see the use for weaponry as it sets a precedent of sorts. Soon enough rubber bullets will be used justifiably.

He was arrested for inciting a riot. Funny how your freedom of speech can be circumnavigated like that.

YouTube - TASERS - Militarization of Police and Officer "Friendly"

Hopefully there will be some legislation removing tasers as usable weapons. People and electricity don't mix.

The right to bear arms might not be necessary right now, but im becoming a bigger fan of it as the years go by.

Watching Resident Evil 3 also does encourage owning a large amount of weaponry.

Then a swat team would have to storm his house and set a block of c4 on his computer to erase the threat.
