I gave up after about six minutes after realising it's one of those polemic movies comprised mainly of stock footage but with no real substance. Is it worth persevering with or is it just another Unfastened Coins type film?

I found it cool. They give lots of factual information about astrology and ancient religions. Very revealing.

I wasn't aware that astrology was based on any facts at all. I think Princeton's definition sums it up nicely.

I should have said astrology/astronomy's link to religion.

Just watch it Grim, or at least the first part. I like it when people pick apart religion like that.

Watched the whole thing, and i'd reccomend it to anyone who can wait till the movie is over make up their minds.

Regardless of what the movie conveys, there is some fucked up shit going on behind closed doors in the states. There is still rampant corruption and nepotism and you dont need this movie to know that.

Yeah grim, the first part is rather interesting, even if you ignore how they are calling religion a load of horseshit. I didn't know about 'ages' and so on, and the amount of religions with the death and 3 day resurrection is also food for thought.

The rest of it is as you say, very conspiracy theory, but even though you need a grain of salt with it, its still interesting to hear that kind of view.

All in all you hear enough about the 'truth' about terrorism and shit, and this movie shows another point of view, that could have happened.

The thing I found most outrageous was the bankers in the early 20th century and the reserve bank... never knew it wasn't a government department.

I wasn't in the mood to subject myself to two hours of moronic drivel just to validate my original thoughts. I really do hate these types of films, they accuse the media/haliburton/bush of being manipulative but then they use editing techniques that wouldn't be out of place in the Eternal Jew.
