Its easy to hope for the best, but its unlikely that it will do more than stop the fighting for more than a little while. These people have their own agendas, and nobody with a desire for power is likely to broker a deal that will see them lose their own power.

Time to regroup is never a bad thing, and since theyre on their own turf, they can come back organised and in force when they need to.
