I don't think a comic book to movie should be taken so universally a great a motion picture like this one has. Batman Begins was a good flick. Having seen it a couple of times...I don't have the desire to see it again. I pass it by when its shown on TV. I'm pretty sure I'll feel the same way about Dark Knight. Some flicks you can see for the 4th or more times on TV or DVD and still enjoy it. For me...not super hero flicks. Last edited by Caslon : 08-03-2008 at 08:24 AM. |

Saw it in Imax last night. Awesome movie. The imax scenes were sweet. Some of the fight scenes were a little confusing because the screen was so big, but my thinking is that if it's in imax, go see it because once it leaves imax it's never coming back. You can always see it on dvd. My only complaint is that it felt long. That might have been because I worked a 10 hour day starting at 8am and I saw the movie at 11pm and didn't get home till 3am and had to be at work at 9am. Other than that it was sweet. Heath Ledger did an amazing job as the Joker and I defiantly think he should be up for an Oscar.

I saw it a few nights ago, I must say I was way more impressed than I thought I would be. Only complaint I had about it was I thought it was too long...just thought some parts were a little boring and didn't keep the action up and steady.
But yeah, phenomenal job by Ledger...I always thought Batman's enemies were gay as shit but he made me like the Joker. A lot. Why So Serious? |
