To me, the X-Files TV show was just ok. After the first season, the show quickly degenerated into Hollywood factory crap.

Some producer probably came up with the idea..."lets make a full feature film of it, now is the time."

No offence to those who dug the X-Files. I liked the first season.

I have recently been watching the whole TV series from start to end. Sure, the storyline ones were shit. I got tired of them finding the Truth. The ones with random monsters and stuff in it were good. I felt it was a well made TV show all round, and Scully was fucking hot after season 3/4. Damn. For a redhead.

Some of the old B&W "Outter Limits" were 60's cold war reflected onto TV.
I'd pit them against X-Files TV show any day.

I wanted to go see it at the IMAX, but the girl who I am going with doesn't want to. Too many people from her high school hang out near the IMAX on Friday's.

I thought the movie was good and i saw it on IMAX too.

Still... i dont think the hype was deserved. Ledgers death definately played a part as the movie in my opinion wasnt so good as to break all these records.
