IT'S ALL SAMUEL ADAMS FAULT!!! They use like 5x the amount of hops in their brewing and openly advertise it!!

No such thing here. But we have a mustard and ketchup shortage. Fortunatelly, ive prepared myself for the apocalypse ahead.
 Oh noes, how can somebody write Ketchu and Mustar.

It's true. Hops prices in our brewery have almost doubled since last year, and that's with a contract.
I run the home brew supply shop at our brewery and I had to sign a contract committing me/us to hops this year. I've already bought out my contract on some varieties, and can get a whopping THREE PACKAGES (That's six ounces total) of those bough[out varieties. Trying to find hops OUT of contract is like trying to find a virgin in Las Vegas - impossible, even if you DO know where to look.

Farmers lost during the economic boom years and low oil prices. Now farmers are raking in the bucks .
That's almost justifiable. Many farms went bankrupt in years past. What oil increase? (Oil provides an incredible amount of what's in fertilizers, to feed the US.) Farmers are now a determining factor in how much wheat costs, good for them. They are raking in the cash now, now that food prices may double. About time.
