Chicks Are Like Trains.....

One comes by every 15 minutes, and if you're not careful they'll rip your ass into a million pieces, making you a shell of the man you once were.

But love comes once, and it comes fast, so you better catch it cuz it's never gonna last.

I ran into 4 chicks from different eras of school, all within the last month. Haven't seen 2 of them in at least 7 years, the other 2 in like 12. With each there were.....certain............"situations". 2 I banged, 2 I didn't.

All of them I've thought about at some time or another, wondering what they're up to, how their lives turned out, and what would happen if I ran into them.

And in all 4 cases, it's fuckin over charlie. Not animosity or hatred, but son of a bitch, there's nothing there. 3 were glad to see me, 1 didn't remember me. (I only went to her school for a year /shrug)

But damn, the turns their lives have taken. To try and walk down roads from the past would require wearing shoes I no longer fit in. Has been straight up mind boggling. It's caused me to relive some shit I had completely forgotten about.

What I've learned from it is that once that train goes by, it's gone, kaput, over, fin.

So even if that train is moving too fast, even if you have to run your ass off and catch a ladder on the way by and end up getting kicked off by a ticket checker before you get in a seat..........go for it. What have you got to lose?

Odds are, no matter what happens, in 10 years she'll be glad to see you. She might be on a different track, or wrecked all together, but at that point she'll remember your chase and appreciate you for it. And if you've kept yourself together, or even gotten the 6 million dollar man rebuild, you'll feel good about yourself, remembering that wild rebellious ride.

But if you stood idle on the dock, all you'll have to remember is watching her blaze by, which she'll do again.

Every 15 minutes? Shit, you must be at grand central station. Bitches come through here once every couple of years. Mostly I take the plane because of it.
