We were due to go on our Duke of Edinburgh hikes and they were postponed for quite a long time.

Ex took my 6 yr old son to Cedar Point last weekend. She dropped him off with a fever (usual situation when he gets sick) and today was diagnosed with Hand Foot and Mouth.

Good part is it's mainly fever for him, no headache/coughing/snotting/puking/shitting or sore throat. Apparently it's been a recent issue in the midwest. Here's hoping I don't get it too.

No, he just had a fever. No other symptoms came up other than fever. He's now fine and hasn't had a fever in over 48 hours. We went to a minor league baseball game tonight. We each ate pig lips and assholes cased in intestines, he got ketchup, I had ketchup with stadium mustard. We both drank a beer, mine Miller Lite, his Root. Fun time was had by all......erm, both of us.

Apparently the USPS doesn't attempt re-deliveries. You have to go to the post office and pick it up. Those lazy posties.

For having the jobs they do, letter carriers are definately a grumpy bunch. The job is tougher than it seems sometimes, but all in all i dont think we have anything to complain about. Anyone with experience on a route will breeze through sorting their mail and be out delivering by 9am, and be back at 1pm. Some guys are done in 5 hours and are still paid for 8, not much to complain about.

Its just what you get with these unionised/government protected jobs. I think they should remain so, because if we privatised it delivery costs would go up, and good paying jobs would likely be lost.
