BF 2 Modern Combat Shooting

I use the assualt kit and i always die. My problem is when im in a shoot out or see somebody running i dont know what to do. Do u hold the trigger when the recticule is red or do u shoot in burst?

With the Assault rifle and most other automatic guns, using a burst fire increases the accuracy. If you are in a prone position you can fire at will because the reticle is at its smallest and hardly grows.

If you like the assault kit, don't forget to use smoke while raising a flag to avoid being sniped. You can see better in the smoke than people outside the smoke can see you. But watch out because if an enemy sees smoke he/she'll know there's someone near it.
