Default Any thoughts on the 360 version; praise or problems?

I love this game except for two things:

Parts of the maps, and sometimes entire maps, are way too dark.

The chat rarely works.

Is it anything like the regular xbox and ps2 one? Because that game was horrible, I had no idea what the hell was going on and the choppers were way too powerful, and all the other vehicles were crap.
