Default Ambush at Mashtuur City

This is a very well edited BF2 movie. Check it out, well worth the download!

I liked the music, and it was a neat video...cept it could have been a little bit longer with maybe the MEC actually coming back and taking out the Blackhawk.

But I liked it nice find

I agree. When the clip started I was thinking it was going to be a nice long video, but then it ended ... so, I watched it again. Keyelite, the "film" editor, made another clip, Assault On Ocel Cekca Keyes. This guy is pretty talented with his editing skills, the music with the scene cuts work well.

The same Premiere Filter/Effect used over and over and over.

name tags where still visible.

If you want some proper BF machinima check our NBrigade Hero and the SSM series.

Well, I disagree that those are "proper BF machinima" compared to the two I've linked, but you are most certainly allowed to your own opinion. I'd say that the editing in Hero was not very fluid and the music was so out of sync with the action that it wasn't very entertaining to watch ... some aspects were cool, like how it began and ended, but everything in between was quite lackluster, for the reasons provided. Hey, at least the name tags weren't visible.

That stuck out to me as well. They should have edited that out, because it made it look like a game, not some movie.

The thing about Hero though was that it single handedly started "Proper" BF machinima.

Nothing like that had been done at the time and thats what made it special.

I advise you to check out the SSM series of movies, the latter ones are veryy good expecially with the choice of music.

I.E. Man on fire. Have you ever watched it? That was the style i was trying to aim for. And with battlerecorder, theres a trick you have to do to take the nametags off.. I figured it out halfway through.

Im working on the 3rd.. Expect it to be a bit longer with some other stuff..

But for now, think of the nametags in this as a reminder that this IS battlefield 2 and you CAN do this in a server.. it's not some animation project..

If you want to get a heads up on the release of the 3rd video or whatnot.. add me in xfire (in my profile)

Ben, when you are starting the dedicated server its an option to turn on free cam. Also, when you're in game you have to press the space key to "jump" out of your dead body.
