This game is awesome. The ground combat is grizzly and immersive, I've gotten an "oh man I have to capture that next point" feeling while playing against BOTS. The ground vehicles are a little on the "weak" side, but that adds more to the "grunt" gameplay; letting you feel like you can venture off your base without being in a tank and get still around with being cannon fodder. The "sprint" option is a cool addition as well, helps cover large distances, and get out of the way of fire in a hurry if need be. Personally, I like the Special Forces class. The M4 is a solid primary weapon, and with a little bit of cunning you can stuff C4 up the tailpipe of a tank no problem, then scoot away and blow it before they have time to react. The other classes all feel balanced for their individual roles. Being a Medic will DEFINITELY make you popular on your team if you play the role well however

The Commander system is great. If you're a solid RTS'er with some multi-tasking skills you can call out commands while still playing and running with your troops. The interface is simple and easy to learn, after only a couple of minutes you can drop arty strikes and supplie boxes while still capping a flag.

The flight physics are a little bit different than previous games. All of the vehicles feel a little "heavier", but they all have guided/tv driven weapons so it evens out well. I think that with the changes to the air units the gameplay will change from "guy in an Apache goes screaming in up close shooting" to "stay away from the target and let the tv guided missles do the work". Playing online has somewhat proven this; people who go up close in the helos get shot down quickly, those who keep their distance and have a gunner with them, to use the full range of weapons, do a lot better. The MEC bomber has a co-pilot seat which can drop bombs AND fire TV guided missles. One guy had it WAY up in the clouds while his CP was dropping the TGM's and he was laying waste to the other team.

A few more...

Do you play on the Cray!
What are your computer specs? The fact that I'm having alot of trouble connectiing to games makes it hard for me to set my graphics.

AMD XP 2800+ (2.08 Ghz)
9800 Pro 125mb
1 Gig Ram
What setting should I have?

I can run BF2 at 1600x1200 with lilttle to no visual lag.

AMD Athlon 3200
1gig DDR 3200
Geforce 6800 Ultra
Everything has been OC'd/tested out to it's highest, but still stable clocks (so only minor overclocks).

I format my pc every 3 months or so, and keep up on updates, defrags, and AV scans which has always been its reason for running everything so well.

First off, let me congratulate you on the parking job in shot number 6,..
"One of these things, is not like the other" :P

Second, your running on Med-High, I think? Im betting the images degraded from saving them as files...,.. I run:
AthXP3200
1.5g DDR400mhz DuallChann
Rad9800Pro 128

I run it high, its all creamy smooth....

Just to be banal running a game on any super computer would be silly.

The game would only take advantage of 1 CPU, so theres hundereds going to waste. They don't have and 3d cards in so they couldnt autchally render it.

if your bored play single player and plant c4's up ahead of your team, drop back and when they reach them blow them up, its hilarious they flip and just smash into the ground. i love the rag doll effect
