5.1 Audio?
Question: Do any typical audio codecs such as MP3, AAC support 5.1?
I want to rip the 5.1 AC3 audio from the War of the Worlds live DVD and save it to a format that I can listen to. I have done this in 2ch AC3 fine, but I would like it in 5.1 if possible. Is there a typical file extension that supports 5.1 that I can listen to on my PC with the likes of WMP, WinAMP etc? I know the simple answer is just to listen to DVD, but I like being picky lol Thanks! |
