Default Skt 775 Cooler

I'm tempted to buy this cooler.

Zalman CNPS9500-AT Intel LGA775 Aero Flower Cooler

Anyone have any experience or comments on this cooler?

Cheers!

Well so far I only found 74 good comments/reviews on alternate.de, the german main hardware site. Q6600 @ 3,2 Ghz at 30°C idle, 45 fully loaded. E6600 @ 3Ghz at 32°C idle and 44-48°C loaded.

Yeah the reviews I read really seemed to like it, and its a steal at only £26.

Gonna get one of these and two more 120mm Noctua 1200RPM fans, as they're effective yet very quiet.

I personally use the Scythe Ninja, slightly better cooling at the expense of slightly more noise.

Ah right cool, they look pretty good. I think I prefer the Zalmans so far. According to the specs theyre quiter and move more air (CFM).

OK, I've chosen these:
  • 120mm Noctua NF-S12 1200 RPM Quiet Case Fan (another case fan)
  • 120mm Scythe S-FLEX SFF21E Silent Fan 1200 RPM (for the CPU block)
  • 92mm Zalman ZM-F2 Quiet Case Fan Speed Adjustable (for the GPU cooler)
  • Thermalright HR-03 PLUS 90mm heat sink for Nvidia 8800 GTS/GTX
  • Thermalright Ultra-120A 120mm heat sink for AMD/Intel CPU (bare sink no fan)
Good choices? Or should I get the Thermalright Ultra-120A extreme version?

I own one, Amraam...not the 9500, but the 9700. It's slightly larger with led.

Kinda noisy at full fan speed. I dialed it down to 3/4 speed using the supplied fan speed control. During the summer...it's gets hot in my condo that I take off my side panel and dial it up to full speed. I'm looking into AC for my place

Good cooler and very quiet if not run full blast. Rather noisy if run at full fan speed.

Installation means removing your motherboard...not a big deal.
