Just running it through the gurus before I purchase.
OK my current shopping cart:
Anything else I'll need that I have missed? Thanks! |

Yeh 8800GTS 320, although I fear I will need to RMA it. According to Rivaturner the shader clock is 1512 when it should actually be nearer 1200, and temps often reach 90-95*C in games (with the fan set to continuous 90%).
I chose that RAM as it has good timings and is SLI ready. Lots of reviewers like it too. |

Are the Corsair PSU good? I heard they were less than optimal with overclocked systems.
Everything else looks good to me.

Well i read that my current AKASA 550W PSU (this one) would work with my upgrades, so I didn't bother buying a new PSU, just the RAM, mobo and CPU.
From the ratings and reviews that I've read, that range of Corsair PSUs are pretty good, just a bit pricey. |
