ok so i posted a forum awhile back about running dual with on dvi link and vga hook up with the vga on mother board and well said i had to by cable well thats wrong i got it by going into display properties and changing it to extend desktop

Ok, so I posted a thread (ahh, forum == thread) a while back about running a dual monitor setup with a DVI and VGA outputs, the VGA being an integrated motherboard gfx card.
Well, you guys said I had to buy a cable.
You were wrong, I got it to work by going into "display properties" and changing my settings to "extend desktop".

That cant be what he said, How would he get the second monitor connected without a cable?

I think he's saying he got it working with fairy-pixie dust and doesnt need to post here for help anymore.
