Should I stay 939 and get a 4400+ X2 and OC to 2.6Ghz? or would it be better to spend more and up my system to AM2 and get say a AMD Athlon 64 X2 5600+ 2.8GHz? Will my 2GB TwinX PC3200 RAM work with AM2?
Cheers |

Several people have recommended that also. Will I be able to use my RAM in a skt775 system? |

Ryt OK. Well I defiinatley can't afford to replace a mobo, ram and CPU.
So I'm gonna have to stay with 939 and either upgrade to the 4400 or wait till I can afford to make a big upgrade. Knowing what I'm like for spending, I'll prolly go for the 4400 now and make a large upgrade in a year (not including Dx10 in 6 months ) |

What's your current CPU & graphics card? An oc'ed 4400 isn't exactly slow by any means, and if you use your PC predominantly for gaming it won't prove much of a bottleneck at all.
