Ok, unlike everyone else, i have made the jump to vista. But i can not get my copy of BF2142 to make the jump with me.
When launching BF2142, I get an error requesting i put a DVD in the drive. my understanding is that this is defeated by running in administrator mode. only problem with this is, when i do this, and launch a game, i might get all of 3 seconds before getting booted by punkbuster. Can anyone tell me if they have got past this point. Please spare me the VISTA "i'm not going to upgrade stories", etc. I am only interested in positive advice on the topic. Thanks Jimgo |

Disableing UAC (User Account Control) might help with the PunkBuster problem.
