![]() Do you usually just get your stuff from Scan? Or just whoever has the best price at the time? What about this Mobo to run the Q6600? Asus P5N32-E PLUS SLi nForce (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard Last edited by Amraam : 07-04-2007 at 11:42 AM. |

The solution is simple. Get a Q6600 and clock!
I mainly order from Scan as I get free postage, however if someone else has it much cheaper or Scan don't stock it I don't mind shopping around. |

Scan has the Q6600 in for £230. Will that likely go down much on 22nd? Komplett's asking £320 ![]() |

Just get a 965 board. SLI really is a pointless feature. Sure, it's nice if it's free but paying extra for it is silly. The 680i boards don't clock as well as 965 or 975 and cost loads more.
Q6600 should drop to the price the E6600 is at now. |

Grim, what board do you think I should go for with a max budget of £150 just for the board?
Not fussed about SLI or crossfire, but I'd like a good board that provides easy, but safe (as safe as OCin can get) and reliable OC'in. |

How abut this board to go with a Q6600?
Intel Extreme D975XBX2KR BAD AXE 2 975X (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard - Retail Not a requirement, but if the board is going to have either SLI or Crossfire, I'd rather it be SLI as I'm running nVidia. Also I need a board that has a parallel port - old I know, but I fly G3.5 RC simulator using PPJoy to connect my Radio Transmitter to my PC. |

Why are the 1333MHz FSB models cheaper than the 1066Mhz models?
I would have thought (though I have been known to be wrong (from time to time )) the 1333 would be more expensive as it should be slightly faster? Here is where I'm getting prices from: Computer hardware and software at amazing prices, available online from Scan Computers UK HKEPC Hardware - IT News I'm particularly concerned about the E6750. That is 2.66Ghz whereas the E6600 is 2.4Ghz so why is the E6750 10 quid cheaper? |
