Nonsense. Microsoft statedw there would be no DirectX10.
The upcoming directxstandart will be named WGF.

Its not Direct X 10.

It is simply an improved crytek engine. HDR which is fetured can be done in 9C. All the other improvement where physics and thus engine based improvements.
