It wont be availible for at least a week untill the RMA is sorted out. £165 plus postage of your choice. I allso may have an Audigy2 ZS for sale depending if its drivers hate my new motherboard as much as my old one. |

I have an a64 3500 venice with an msi k8n neo2 platinum and have no probs. It's a great board for overclocking but can't run 4x512 sticks of ram at 200mhz due to the a64s memory controller not being up to the job. I've got round this by dropping the ram to 166, the multiplier to 10, hypertransport to 4 and upping the fsb to 240, bringing the ram back up to 200 and giving me a slight cpu overclock. The venices are beasts for overclocking, they can take everything you throw at it and more. On this board the pci and agp bus's are locked and 2 of the 4 onboard sata connectors are, so playing with your fsb isn't an issue as far as that's concerned.
I have 2 sticks of generic pc3200ddr, and 2 sticks of matched geil value pc3200 ddr, and they work fine, and run in dual channel without any problems, surprisingly. Although if you want PCI-E then obviously this mobo isn't for you. I imagine the Neo4 would be good enough though seeing as it's more or less an updated version of this one. ![]() ![]() |
