Default Need HTML help

Does anyone know where i can find some good html tutorials that could teach me how to make a website?

I know some basic tags, but i need info that can guide me through the process of making a real website with kickass graphics and the like, essentially a full-fledged website like BFN or what have you.

I hear you can find templates which makes your life a bit easier, but those must have conditions and such Anyways im not sure, i dont have the knowledge to work with those yet, but id like to develop it because i have projects i would like to accomplish, most notably some kind of WW2 website

Not sure if any of these help. I had a shit load of websites in my bookmarks that referred to HTML, PHP, Photoshop, etc., but they seemed to have disappeared....

Ive seen all these websites and have gone through them, but i cant seem to find what i need.

Upon viewing the source code for BFN, it doesnt seem all that difficult. Im assuming that most of the code in a style sheet or template of some sort.

Perhaps i just need to look harder at the code and try to figure out what does what.

Thanks for the links, ill keep looking through them to see if i can find useful info. I will say that the quicklist on codetutorials is quite helpful.

The problem is that the php code which powers BFN can't be seen by viewing the source, since it's executed server-side. It produces the html output that you can see.

Ive looked around for information regarding php and i cant find anything. So far i have no clue what it does or how i am supposed to use it; even though ive looked around the internet for info.

Im really not sure where to start on this.

HTML isen't exactly hard to learn.
I usually learn stuff by trial and error...

Just create a HTML page (or copy one) and remove/add stuff from it and see what happens.

When you've learned HTML and CSS, you should go on and learn a server-side programming language like PHP, that way you can really make a website flexible.
