**WARNING.....N00B ALERT**
OK...so I got my new HDD recently and decided I wanted to put 2 partitions on (never done this before). One for the OS and one for general stuff. When I was installing the OS I made 10GB partition for the OS. How the hell do I get windows to recognise the 70GB partition I have left as I cant seem to access it. Thanks in advance!

Yeah I just realized the other day that my 8-n-1 Windows XP came with a partition magic 7 version that loads into the ram at boot. Very easy to repartition existing drives and such.
Hit me up if you need any assistance. |

Right-click on My Computer
Choose "Manage" Under "Storage" choose "Disk Management" You should see your C: drive listed in the area in the right and in the below-right graphical area. Beside the bar graph of your C drive there should be an area showing unformatted disk space. *Edit* This step may already be done. If so, go to the next step below. Right-click on the unformatted area and choose "Format". After the formatting is complete, you need to create the partition by right-clicking on the unused disk space and choosing "Create Primary Partiion" - not sure on the wording, as I'm working from memory, but its close. When its done, you should have another drive letter show up.
