Today I went to start my computer after it had been running perfectly for hours. Starts making a dee-doo noise, over and over again. I had to unplug the power to turn it off. Now, no noise, nother on the screen, nothing happens. What happened? I installed the Catalyst 5.7 drivers, nothing else major in months. (I did not uninstall the old drivers before I installed the new drivers, never have. Could that be my problem?)

You don't make it terrible clear what happening.
It sounds like you went to update the driver. Then during the update it started making that noise. You then ripped the power cable out and it dosn't boot any more? Is this is the case it could be several things: Check the cable is plugged in and the switch is on, its obvious but it could happen. Your PSU is fried. Not likely but possible. |

Also check what motherboard you have and see if you can find out what the warning sound means. MB's normally give off error "beeps" and depending on the type of warning it should beep a certian amount of times.
Just another idea...
