Wow really good monitor deal now at Circuit City

Just saw this at Circuit City.com:

Samsung Monitor (213T) (21.3 viewable screen!)
SAM 213T Original Price: $899.99
You save: -$180.00
You pay: $719.99
Mail-in rebate(s): -$150.00

Price after rebate(s): $569.99

The rebates are a pain as you actually have to mail in 2 different one's ($50 to Samsung and $100 to CC, and but if you send both of them in, it's a SMOKING deal.

I just bought the Samsun 930b monitor and it looks great for BF2. It has a 8ms refersh rate and runs up to 1280 x 1024 and I'm very happy with it.

Just thought I'd pass this along to anyone looking at upgrading their monitor. It's still a bit pricey, but for what you get, it's a steal IMHO.

Imagine playing BF2 with this montir on an SLI enabled 7800 GTX sytem at 1600 x 1280 with AA and AF enabled!

We can all dream I guess...

EDIT: Reseaching it a bit more it's not quite the best gaming monitor despite it's size. Response time is 25 MS and Contrast Ratio is 500:1. The 930b (the one I have) has an 8ms resonse time and a contrast ratio o f 700:1.

I imagine that wouldn't be too good for gaming with a 25mz response time.

Allso the price relys on you getting all the MIR back. Which dosn't allways happen from what I have heard.

I've always gotten my mail in rebates back. I am quite happy with my 17" crt, although it does have this problem with the screen not fitting to the viewable size but whatever.
