FX is the super duper wow chip, much like intels extreme edition (only better).
there are the fx51,53 and the new 55. The fx chips have an extra 512kb of l2 cache (i think). they arnt realy worth the cash their mainly for braggin rights. |

There is supposed to only be one AMD-FX CPU on the market at a time. I agree with grim reaper that the FX-CPU is only for bragging, like Pentiums Extreme Edition:
