how many people out there think they have the best looking case?

Ive got 2 entries, I painted them both myself.

I have one of the black cases Alienware used to use, the ones with the big grill in front, not like the ones now. It's pretty cool but I didn't mod it.

Oh and u can remove the faceplate of CD-roms u know, there was a guide somewhere I'll have to look it up. So you can paint those face plates to match the rest of the case. Unless your going for a black, grey, beige look?

hmm... i have pics but i feel like taking new ones cause they are much better now. So ill have them up soon.

i though black silver gray and dark gray looked good together? ill paint them aswell
or over them with a silver faceplate

If you can find a metallic silver go with that, not grey, it will look way better. Silver and black looks good together. Black case and silver drives.

don't have that much money man. I just have this simple white case which i found it very durable. I mean spending all that money on case is really a waste. I think spending on hardware upgrade are more useful and helpful than showing off ur case. Well thats just what i think, don't take it too seriously.

mine has changed quite a bit, but so has its position, and im to lazy to get down on the left side of it, i think youve all seen my case before, now its jjust UV lights with an alien on the window and cleaner cables

damn, 3 bucks on paint :/ . jk, I do it because I enjoy it. Ive spent about 40 bucks on visuals

paint - $3
fan grills - $10
case light - $15
2X LED 80mm - $10

before the black gloss paint it was silver, but i think the black, red light tube, and stainless grills go well together

Plexiglass window, "cool" fan guards, fans with neon, cold cathode/neon lights, "cool" round cables.

I dont know, that would be like $70+ just for the case to look better. I am partly with Taiwan because that could easily be a better video card, cpu, motherboard, memory, or larger hard drive. Let your system specs do the talkin, not a case. Do you stare at your case more than you do your monitor? Personally, I spend more time looking at my monitor and I would prefer to see a difference on my screen (in fps for example) than having a modded case.

I can't justify spending that money to make the computer look better when about $70 can really go to getting some computer part that WILL be alot better.

"I only got $100 bucks for a video card, damn I might have to get a regular Radeon 9600 or something, oh wait if I hadnt spent $70 bucks to make my case look better I could buy a Radeon 9600XT for $170, OMG!" See what I mean, $70 can be a big boost in performance instead.

What about the case window, was that free? Even if it came with the case I bet the cost was included. Thats another $20.

But if you're rich go for it. But unless you have a Radeon 9800XT, or FX 5950U ALREADY, don't you think it'd be a lot smarter to put money towards those first? P4 3.2EE, A64 3400+?

it was a $70 case. When you work and make money. and at the end of the day you have $4000 in your wallet, why wouldnt you pamper yourself?

I didn't post this to get flamed by people who dont take pleasure in customising things. Creating and styling things is just another way I enjoy life, kinda like people who go on vacations ?

why would someone go on a vaction if they dont get and improvment when they play video games!?!?! they should really have spent that 2 grand on a new 1337 comp!

Monseiur - would you prefer Eggs Benedict, or Eggs Huissard? Perhaps some made-from-scratch waffles with home-made hash browns?

Ey, mon, I been cooking for better than 20 years - and I learned it all from my Mom, who's a gourmet cook! ALL my friends look forward to dinner invitations - cuz I make a lot, and it's ALWAYS good!

My specialty is barbeque - and by BBQ, I mean slow-cooked, fall off the bone ribs, melt-in-your-mouth brisket, tender and flavorful turkeys and chickens...

Beyond that I do a pretty mean Mexican/Spanish, passable Asian (Thai/Chinese), an amazing lasagne, meat sauce, and stuffed shells - as well as some generic curries and other casserole type things.

And did I mention I make my own pizza dough and sauce?

Whaddaya hungry for?

yes i have a 9800xt oc'ed to ATI 91337pro speeds.

I'll soon have a 9700pro.
but even if I wasn't getting this card soon would it really matter seeing as i play at 800x600 on a 15'' monitor? i get 60+ fps in BF and that floats my boat.

btw im a penny pincher, I would never be caught dead spending $650 on a video card.

and theres big differnce between 10 dollar grill's and a 700 dollar video card. one's pocket change and the other is a low blow to your wallet

when we all look back ten years from now, at our current computers remember this, It dosnt matter how fast you got to the finish line, It's how good you looked when you got there
