Default PCI-E video cards

Hey guys hows it going?

I have been playing BF2, and i heard that vietnam is a great game, and its almost like BF2 is to modern for me, and it definitley to buggy. I loved BF1942! BF2 just isnt the same, so i figured i would try BFV. Now, down to the question. Can this game run using a PCI-E video card? The system requirements say AGP, so i was wondering

2.8 Ghz P4 Dual Core
Geforce FX 6800 256mb
2 gigs ram
Audigy 2Z Sound

^ incase anyone needed it.

This question is almost as ludicrous as the thought of playing BF:V.

Yes, it will run fine.

However you're in for a shock if you play BF:V. Its no where near as good as '42 or BF2.

alrihgt thanks, and why do you say that? its that much different?

And i asked because I have heard that NO PCI-E cards work at all with the game, and then I've heard people say that there is no difference at all...so I wanted to make sure!

The interface the graphics card uses makes no difference to the software. Its using Direct3D to render so as long as your card is compatible with that API (which it is) it will work fine.

BF:V is generally regarded as the worst of the 3 battlefield games.

I did the same thing you were thinking of doing. Worst waste of $20. Evar!

Only decent thing was the WWII Mod that I got with the redux version.

Well, Ill be 'The russian Judge' on this one.

I liked it, largely because the WW2 motif doesnt do it for me, else, Id be playing CoD. THAT was some of the most intense SP action Id seen in a game, and I think I lost interest at around the 3rd act.

The fact I could load up my own tunes was nice too. Was like playing 'Uncommon Valor', but I dont know how many here saw the flick.
'Saving Private Ryan' was more recent in everyones mind.

That, and the 'Point Of Existance' mod carried it a long ways for meself.
