Default So how good is BF:V now?

I havnt bought BF:V after release because people told me it sucks.
Im really happy with BF42 and the mods. But im thinking maybe im missing some fun without having BF:V. So how good is BF:V after the patches now?
Any good mods out? Is it worth getting or should i wait for BF2?

Well, it basicly depends on your personaly likes and dislikes.

Now, in 1.01 the weapon balance is fine and the major bugs have been fixed (or will be in 1.02 next week).

Yet BF 1942 and BFV have a very different game-play. BFV is a lot faster paced and has much less "downtime" than BF 1942. It tends to feel a bit like BF 1942 mixed with UT2004.
Don“t get we wrong, BFV is still a good game, but if you liked the tactical aspect and team-play in BF 1942 you might be dissapointed. But if you never liked "downtime" in BF 1942, you might enjoy BFV.

I find BFV to be more "arcade" like then BF1942, but in a good way. It builds upon what BF1942 has with more arcade like action. The maps get repetetive though.

You should play it at a friend's house to see if you like it.

may be you want to buy bfv when the 1.1 patch comes out. it might make some difference in this game. but if you like bf1942 so much, maybe u just stick with it as long as there other players online.

Great game. If it ran better on my computer, I'd play it so much more then I do now. Right now I'm playing CoD because it runs with no flaws.
