Default Helo Grenades?!

Hi! I'm new to this game so my question may seem n00bish to some people - well it just takes some time...

Who uses the grenade launcher on the helos? Flying I managed quite successfully, but with this particular armament I dont hit anything.

It is way too inaccurate and the rate is much less than the original launcher had (240 rounds/minute -> 4 per second!!). Maybe DICE reduced it on purpose to balance the game?

Any tips, tricks or inputs on how to use this weapon would be apreciated.

Well, I admit the grenadelaucher on the helos is rather useless. Only tipp I can give you there is to aim higher thatn your target.

However as a co-pilot, the MGs are your main weapon of choice. They ground all airvehicles in seconds and if you hit they´ll take out Infantrie aswell.

If you are a pilot, then the HE-Rockets are you main weapon. You can frag just about anything with those and I hate it.

Thanks for the tip.

Its just a pity the launcher doesnt have a decent firing rate. I often wish I had a co-pilot clearing the ground below.
The steep firing angle is the main advantage a co-pilot adds to a gunship in air-to-ground, imho.
I love the minigun on cobras for dogfights!

Practice makes perfect . Aim high fire nice and early. hey presto. The huey gunship would have to be one of the most deadly weapons in the right (or wrong) hands.
