Still waiting for the client version. Unless a certain RAV member wants to send it to me.

![]() Just started (torrent was slowing it down). The cockpits look wicked cool from the vids. Go play DC .1, its absolute crap, If this is pretty good, I think I found something to hold me till BF2.

I´m not a big fan of DC, but PoE truley rocks.
Its models and other stuff might not yet be quite DC standard, but they will be there in a few releases. Thanks to real homing missiles the rock-paper-scissor concept is much better compared to DC and BFV. The only thing that seems to be missing in that regard is a AA weapon for infantrie. I´ve played about 5 maps so far, and I´d say their decent. Some have some really cool Junge enviroment (BFV could learn from that), but the Desert Maps arn´t quite there yet. I was speaking with one of the Devs and he sayd they have alot in store for us and have been experimenting with different BFV features. I really must get my joystick working again, since I´d love to fly those nice toys... I´d give the Mod 8/10 so far. Really good job, besides some monor things and I can see this Mod staing on my HD for quite a while. Hopefully EoD and this here will make BFV worth its money...

As for PoE, my initial impression is good. I've only looked at it briefly (The "Why don't you spend some time with ME?" chorus was in full voice last night :/ ), but I'm gonna spend more time with it today. However, I like the modelling and the "feel" of the mod so far...much more so than DC, personally.
