Default Its raining men....well raining VC men

I hope that since the patch isn't here yet, maybe they went back and are also going to fix the raining of men form the Mi8's. THe patch news released awhile back is addressing the kits and heavy machine guns. But since the release of the patch news I think the raining of men onto the US home bases on a few maps is an issue to be addressed. Now I know that experienced and team players will work together from the beginning of the map to keep that Mi8 from raining men, but sometimes (most of the time it happens anyways) I am wondering what the communities ideas are on stopping this? do you even think its a problem?

we could,
1 lower the ceiling on maps with the transport Mi8...
2 give the americans a shoulder held AA weapon (stinger)
3 maybe add a new stationary missle battery to the home bases..
4 change the way the NVA & VC are able to spawn on the transport..

either way its a tough call, but It needs to be fixed...in my opinion.

Well, imho all the US need is some sort of sationary AA batteries to take out hostile aircrafts.

As for the raining VC, this is normaly a very ineffective way of taking a flag, since the VC are easy to spot and easyer to kill. Even if they do succeed in taking the flag, it normaly takes a lot of casulties.

Since the VC and NVA never parachuted anywhere it is a rather funny occurance.

Am I wrong in thinking the Huey's have a lower ceiling? Why would this be? Certainly at the altitudes we are taking about the real Huey's could have reached them and taken out the enemy Mi8's.

I just checked and the ceilings for these helos is almost the same.

I would assume its a balance issue since the huey smokes Mi8's they can get above them and shoot them down. I have noticed that shooting at the huey from above takes it out quicker than head on.

quite a few things need done. lets see if the fix em.. if not the same people playing veitnam, will be the same people playing veitnam.

The "more" that might be playing it, will abstain.

I've noticed the m60 is the worst wpn in the game. Maybe I'm wrong, standing up killers!!! Nice. Amongst other things it is a big step backwards.

take the parachutes out of choppers
its so freaking annoying and completly unrealistic
how many time did you see a chopper fly over a base and 6 guys jump out with parachutes
and i love when the pilot bails without telling anyone, then the whole chopper crashes and burns with everyone inside

I agree about the U.S. having stingers or some sort of AA battery, another issue which pisses me off is the fact that it takes at least three anti-aircraft missiles to take out a huey. if two RPG can take out a tank then surely two missles can take out a fragile chopper, and by the time you finish shooting your second missile the damn chooper guns you down, and this is all comming from a real Air Defender in the Army.
