Default Muzzle Flash on Different Weapons?

Hi all. I've been wondering something about BFV that I've not been able to get into a server to test. The game's got some effects for muzzle flash that are highly visible from a distance, it was mentioned in a Q&A with a dev that they put them in as during beta it was hard to find people to kill.

I was wondering if there's a larger effect for the heavy weapons like the M60 and RPD, and if the lighter assault weapons like the M16 and CAR15 had a less visible effect? Anyone know? Personally I really like the CAR15, but it'd be great to know if it's less visible when firing than the M60.

I think the M60 and RPD are only more visible because they have a near constant glow from the distance when firing.

A CAR-15 will quickly become noticed if you're alone and prone on the side of a hill. Don't really worry though, the flash in the distance is the same from both guns. Use the CAR-15 if you like it because you'll probably actually make the kill unlike the guy spraying with RPD.

I personally haven't noticed any differences between any of the guns, but I haven't been specifically keeping track.
I do know however that muzzle flash is a great way of spotting hard to see people when you are sniping :P

Me, the AKMS and the RPD seem to be just as accurate, while the RPD obviusly has 100 rounds/clip. The M60 has a mad Rate of Fire but otherwise it seems just about as accurate as the M16. They really need to make the guns more different...

And reagrding the muzzle flashes. I think their all just as visable. But the M60 and RPD obviusly have a more constant muzzle flame since they don“t need to reload and also have a higher Rate of Fire...

There is a bug with the Car-15, I think it is just with the grenade launcher but not sure. You cant hear it when you get shot. You just die, so if he misses he gets a second chance before you even know whats going on.
