Question about controller

I know you have to edit something with one of the files, i know there's a topic on how to do for '42 but i dont' see one for vietnam, so exactly what do you have to do to make your gamepad control your characters movements, kinda like you do on consoles? any help would be appreciated

have you tried to do it the same way that it is done in 42? because they would probably be the same, seeing as how the coding is so similar
