Default Those who are not happy

with BF:V should call EA/DICE and tell them that you aren't satisfied with the game all on the same day. If I am not mistaken (which most likely I am) that the warranty in the back of the manual states that if you aren't completely satisfied return it.... Maybe that will force out a patch quicker.

I dont think that will really make a difference, the only thing you should do is post on their forums and tell them what problems your having to help make the patch more effective.

I think the next patch will be awsome, usually the fix up patches for games and mods that come out after a big release are really good.

Can anyone remember how long it took for the 1942 first patch to come out?

a month maybe before they 1st patched Bf'42?

i DO remember 1.3 coming out and making huge strides on fixing net code and sound issues.

i wish we could know more inside info, like how much stress these BFV guys are under that do the actual work.
heard from other title crews that it's immense and there's always
da' man putting pressure for deadlines...make HIM (Mr. Profits) answer to the problems.

i thought i read somewhere the only way they could ship BF:V by the deadline they set, was if the developers PROMISED to make the first patch fix the poor optimizations for ATI video cards, where did i read that, hmmm.

Thats right haha and we were all like oh shi this cant be good patch before the games even out.

I cant belive they are having the same sound lag related problems that they had 2 years ago, that they fixed ONE year ago.

And ya have to remember, BF42 was a real breakthrough at its release, there were no games like it at that time. As of BFV's release, well, theres always BF42 to compete with which they bother are basically the same with BFV with some better graphics and new options.

Actually,If you read up on it in depth ,You'll see that the better graphics and options you speak of are actually more layering, now the BF42 engine can do it but not without player perf prob's.So they revamped the Engine to allow more layering.
The patch I hope also will fix several prob's
I have an xp2800,1gig RAm and a FX5900 Vid card and cannot play online competativly withoput turning all graphics to MED and sound to 2d -poop.
But at least it's playable..
I have confidence that EA/Dice will get there poop together soon
This is not critisism, just my opinion
