It seems whenever I'm in a server with PunkBuster on, it keeps saying in the bottom corner that my client can't authenticate with the server (and I know for sure I don't have hacks or etc.). Then after a minute, I get disconnected from both the game and my Internet connection. Any ideas on what's wrong?
EDIT: Forgot specs.. Pentium 4 2.6 Ghz 256 MB of RAM 128 MB Radeon 9600 SE Cable connection with a Linksys 2.6 Ghz 802.11b Router. |

This has nothing to do with your problem but if you get 512 or even 1024 of ram, you will load faster and notice an improvement. 512 for bf42 and 1024 for bfv is best I have found.

Officer Tray,
What is going on it sounds like is your punkbuster isn't updating. Go to www.evenbalance.com and look for bf vietnam. There are two files there you want to load into your BFV file. Just read the directions on the install and this should solve your problem |
