I was having some crazy graphics issues when running BF:V. After about 10-20mins I would see the loss of textures on certain objects (vehicles would look white, players would look white etc). A short time later the comp would crash giving me differnt BSOD error everytime. Reinstalling video drivers did nothing and reinstalling BF:V did nothing. About a two months ago, I remembered changing some BIOS settings as what the manual that came with my video card told me to do.
To make a long story short, I changed my "AGP Apiture Size" value in my BIOS from 4MB to 64MB and whala, no more video problems. The "AGP Apiture Size" dictates how much system memory is availible to the video card for textures. Some say to raise that vaule to 1/2 your system RAM but 64MB worked for me. Apparently my 128MB GF FX 5900 doesn't have enough on board memory to handle all the textures in BF:V. I hope this helps some people out! |

When your computer boots up usually you have to press F2 or Del or something (look at the boot screen to see what to press) to enter the BIOS settings page for your computer. In the BIOS page look at the different options that are available. You will usually find the "AGP Apiture Size" setting under Video Options or Peripherals. Once you find the setting, change it to somthing higher than 32MB.
Mephisto is right about the 128MB setting. I tried it and the game seems to run smoother than when it was set to 64MB. I've been running the game now at 1280x960 at the "High" settings with no texture problems. Depending on your system, your mileage will vary. |

All of the computers I've owned were either expertly built (by me), or I'm just lucky, as I've never had any graphical, network related, or sound problems whatsoever with BF42, Desert Combat, or BFV.
