Seems like a carry over problem from BF1942 per searching the boards.
The EA splash screen, intro movie, and menu screens are not centered so that I can see all the option buttons. Its like I am missing the bottom and right 1/3rd of the screen. I have adjusted resoloutions up and down in the game and on the card. Played with the monitor adjustments, reinstalled DX 9.0b, and tried 2 ATI drivers and the 9522 Omegas. Currently running 4.3 ATI Cats. I have also tried changing the "0" to "1" and vice versa on the render line in the default video.con file like was suggested for BF1942 without success. P4 533 2.66 Asus P4PE BP ATI 9500 Pro 128 512 Mb RAM Win XP Home Thanks in advance for any ideas, BigA |

Maybe this can help some one else.
The problem was resolved - it was the monitor. Silicon Graphics Inc. (Sony) GDM-20E21 Replaced Win XP Home default monitor driver with another Sony 20" driver. Still no good, but continued to uncheck "Use DDC Info" in the "Monitor" options under the "Displays" tab of "Advanced Settings" in the ATI control panel. Finally Ok |
