Default More weapons..

most of u guys know that gamespot has already posted all the information like all the classes, weapons and maps online. classes and maps are fine but i don't know about the weapons in the bfv. I think theres not enough weapons to make this game more fun. I wish they can add more weapons in future patches.

BF: Vietnam has more firearms than BF 1942, and only the
North Vietnam, Vietcong, Southvietnam and USA Army+Special Forces. So, if you ask me, there will be plenty of firearms to play with. If you are however refering to vehicles+armour, I think we can expect about the same variaty as in BF 1942...

i like how the vietnamese have homing missles for choppers, but the americans should have something like that too. I played on a map where charlie actually had some choppers and all I could do was fire my m60 at them

its not as effective as the NVA's but you can use it if the chopper is close, its more of an anti tank weapon though, whereas the NVA's are anti tank and anti air

Americans got Air-Air guided missiles (F4 and Cobra's Gunner)... Viets get Sol-air guided man portable missiles. But it is true that adding more guns would probably mean more color to the game... tho not something urgent right now. (ie: PPsh-41 or 43 for the North Viets, M1 Carbines and M1 Garand for the South Viets (early battles). I would also say M3 SMG, but I don't remember if they were used in the conflict.)

Yeah, and they should let you have a thompson, like, for engies or something. They were used a bit in Vietnam. I don't really like that crappy semi-auto thing for the engineers. BTW, do the Viet Cong have the Mosn Nagant? I know that was used a lot by the enemy. Yes, and the grease gun, but that would go to the VC, not Americans.[/list]
