Yeah, I wouldn´t mind reading it. 82 % is good, but not as good as I had expected. In my PC Mag. BF 1942 got 88/90 %.
So that musz mean the game has some significant weaknesses compared to Bf...

Thanks for the review !
Thats PC gamer magazine has a strange style about it...

Anyway, looks like BF: Vietnam is just about what we expected. Its only real weakness is that its obiusly not very original, and dosn´t really offer much more than a big expansion pack.
Also the Hardware requirements will stop alot of people getting it. They do seem rather high.

Yeah, I was thinking that to. PS only got 68 % in my Mag. and Halo 87 %.

So what does that mean for BF: Vietnam ? Does it totally suck, or do PC Gamers just have a crappy rating system ?

they tend to get most things right, they do havea section for newbies telling them the best games for the different genres, BF is the top for Oline game, and the comment on it states that with the recent patchs they would of added a couple of percent to that (bf42 88% that is).

as for BFV it seems its just more of the same with better graphics, but the same as something great is fine for me, its just its not a true sequel that probly marked it down.

If you read the profile you can see why it scored lower. BF1942 was revolutionary, BFV certainly is not. No doubt to true BF veterans this game will be an improvement, but for the genre as a whole it won't get any awards like BF did. That being said, I'm pre-ordering BFV right now.

I can't wait to get my copy of PC Gamer and read that in normal resolution.

I think there's very minimal differences between the US and UK versions of PC Gamer. If they're both called PC Gamer, they should be running the same articles.

alas the minimum system requirements arent bad. 900mhz pc with a 32mb video card. If your computer played BF42 it will prolly play this. I mean you only need 128mb ram!

Looks so fun, helo lifts, heat sinking missles, firing "your" weapon out a vehicle. The mods are going to have a field day, DC is gonna be great!

Did anyone even hear anything about a BFVN multi player demo?

The word is that they "were so busy" getting out the full, no demo was
made before release, that's understandable.

I'll probably wait till some here review the full before deciding.

Watch out for your first impression reviews tho...they can make you eat crow.
(both ways, good and bad).

read the little grey box on the last page, PCG recommend at least 512mb of ram.

the demo will be released the same day the game comes out

my computer games magazine reviewed BFV and said that they are getting a whole new flight system, something like a flight simulator for the choppers, and also the jets have lock on missles, just line up the cross hairs with the jet infront of you and fire, the missle locks on and you can go home

I really dont need a review. Theres no way I wouldnt buy it. I'm thinking about buying two copies so I can have my friend on my laptop play online with me. Even if all the magizines game it -10000% I'd still buy it (well maybe I'd bit torrent it then) I've had some much fun with BF42, if this came get that same feel going, its gonna be great.
