crashes to desktop

after installing the latest update, bf2142 crashes to desktop when i try to begin multiplay or a single player game.

it worked before i installed the patch.

any suggestions?

What are your system specs?

and also, did you install the 1.40 beta patch or the 1.25 patch?

i suggest u delete the patch and reinnstal the game

i found that if you uninstal the whole game then reinstall with the update
it seems to fix it or it worked for me bit of a pain i know dont think it likes writing over the old patch
