Default anyone else think that EA is full of S**T?

I bought BF 1942, loved it.
I bought BF 2142 and it is junk. Mainly with all this other S**T they force you to do, like force an internet connection just to play, even off line.

I bought BF 2, and well... I see they spared nothing in adding a bunch of S**T into it as well, like forcing you to register, just so you can attempt to play online. As I got it tonight and even though I updated everything, registered, I STILL CANNOT play online because the G*D DA*M server refuses the connection for what ever F**KING reason, so I cannot create a name.

What the hell happened to firing up a game, clicking the name you want to use, click multi-player and selecting a server to play on? is this TOO MUCH TO ASK?!?!?!?! Is this too F**KING DIFFICULT?

If you cannot tell I am more than a little pissed off right now... as I see that I just wasted some good money on a POS game. Lord knows I wasted $50! on 2142 that I have played all of twice since I bought it...

I've moved this to the right folder.

Also, you need to register an account so your stats can be tracked. Although the process of logging in usually takes a while stats are a compelling enough feature for this not to be a major problem.

Actually that is the problem I am having, I CAN'T in BF2. Hense why I am getting so sick of EA for putting junk like that in the games.
I tried for several HOURS yesterday to no avail.

thats typpical for ea. they need all the control in the world so that they can see if someone is downloading the game on the pirate bay and other torrent sites.
