What's Going On?

I'm at my wits end with this game. If it didn't have such great potential, I would have given up on it a long time ago. Is it infested with cheaters? How can an enemy sustain up to 6 direct hits (tank) and survive and I can get hit once and be destroyed? Don't try to take on a walker that's at full strength cause you're gonna loose every time unless you're teamed up with a teammate and then you both better know what you're doing. What's going on here?

This is an issue going back to the days of BF1942. It happens, but not
on a regular basis.
A walker at full strength will always have the advantage over a tank one on one.
That is normal.

We can thank the wonderful Battlefield netcode for problems like these. Like Caslon said, it only happens once in awhile, and usually when you have a high ping. So if you stick to low ping servers you should be fine. Don't fret too much, everyone has this happen to them. I still like to yell at my computer though, makes me feel powerful.

Thanks guys. I really appreciate you'all taking the time to answer me and solve my dilemma. I didn't want to believe that cheating was the cause. I put up with that in Generals, which was/is a very good game except for the cheaters. That kind of stuff just ruins it and I can/could never understand why someone would do such. Your score amounts to nothing in reality. Guess one must rack it up to low self-esteem and a mental disorder. Thanks again to all that answered.

Poster questioned achieving rank and points and all.

My reply:

Some find playing the game is good enough.
Others find a challenge in winning the map.
Working towards a team map win is kinda worthwhile (when you contribute).
Gaining a higher rank is a challenge call that pits you against yourself to excell..
