need help.

when i minimize 2142 it go down ok. but when i try to open it back up it just freezes into a little black box.

ive already tried everything from updating drivers, shutting down BG programs, and equalizing desktop and game resolutions. but still freezes.

can anyone help?

Could you be more specific?
You're playing BF2142 and you want to minimize it on your desktop?
Get back in their soldier or you will be shot!

It's a common problem. I used to be able to alt-tab fine before 1.1, since then I get a black screen everytime I try to to maximize it again, then have to kill the process with task manager.

Some people find that leaving an application open on the desktop (notepad, etc) helps, others are fine if they hit escape and go to the menu before they alt-tab.

I checked out that link and put Dice.bik back in the movies folder (I'd moved all the movies to their own folder) and sure enough it works! I can now alt-tab when ever I want and get back into the game no problem.
