Join me on the Bananaphone Server! Knife and Defibs only! It is so much fun I can't even explain. It's a ranked server and you get an insane amount of career points due to the collector pins you get from all the knife kills! It's tons of fun.

In BF2, people here jumped all over the idea of knife and pistol, saying it was against EA rules and regs, a form of stat padding some said.

Whats different here? Not that I'm personally against it, just don't understand the difference in attitude toward this type of game play

yea i don't really understand the stat padding thing either? So this type of server not allowed or what? I mean the deal with the server is, you play regular conquest without guns. If you really want the IP grim i can find out. :P

You ain't allowed to run a ranked server that restricts the way you play the game so your score is artificially inflated. Knife kills are mega hard to get in normal gameplay, hence the awards to get them have low kill limits. Suddenly if its knife and defib only everyone is expert at knife so the rank system is devalued.

Un ranked is fine, you can do whatever you want.

If you want to knife and defib it out...fine. Don't expect your scores to be officially tallied.
I'd report any such server doing that, I don't care if you call me a narc.
I wonder if Walmart has seen his score added to his official tally playing on that server.
I guess so...since he said his score went up like crazy.

Hell, I'm still witnessing Titan ship crawl vent hacks. This player named CrashandBurn or
CrashNBurn ( I forget) killed me 3 times as I verified that he was not in the Titan ship
drop down crawl space corridor with me...I confirmed I was alone. Died 3 times to make sure.
Any previous texture wall mistakes in that area were well ironed out by DICE after the beta test.

Hey, Zippy. Shut up. It's a good thing to report stuff like this. It's seriously unfair for guys to get away with this kind of thing. There are people with real skill out there who slog their way up the career ladder to get the unlocks and enjoy em, but that gets spoiled by this kind of thing.
