Lightbulb Just a "real world" question?

The whole time I've been playing this game, I've mostly been playing the Support kit...and one of the questions I've pondered is...

How is it that in 136 years, as advanced weaponry and machines the world has produced like the mechs and titans...

How is it they didn't figure out a way to keep their machine guns cooled no matter how long the firing time? Overheating just seems like something they could figure out a solution to in that time.

lol, I know it would ruin most of the game if support kits could just fire endlessly until the clip ran out...but thats just a thought.

Default Re: Just a "real world" question?

And this is when the statement 'its just a game' comes into play. Most games produced arnt meant to be completely realistic because they arnt as fun to the majority of the population as more arcade like games are. Bf1942 was more of an arcade game than simulation and there was a reason for it, because its alot more fun for alot more people.

But if you are still interested in pondering all about its faults in technology i suggest to really open your mind to it because there could conceivably be multiple reasons for the overheating. I would say them right now but im still waking up...
