Noone was exactly clammering and complaining that BF2 was getting too old...altho for me...it was sort of.

I want to stress that I'd have waited another 4 months for DICE to perfect this game title...a stressed to the max game engine as it is.

I fully understand that someone from DICE would tell me that they'd need at least 14 months to completely come up with a new game engine to make BF2142 as sweet as it could be (from my picky standards).

The PC gaming business doesn't work that way tho, apparently/obviously.

It is true that 2142 isnt a fully polished game, quite far from it compared to alot of games. Yet i still preordered it about a week before release mainly because almost everyone in my clan was playing the demo and had already preordered it. Now for 1942, rtr, bfv, and bf2 i eagerly preordered and waited for it to come as fast as possible but for 2142 i actually was going to wait till after release to get it, that is until almost everyone in my clan was playing it. If it wasnt for that then i probably still wouldnt have it and if i knew i would be having the troubles i am then i might never get it. But the truth is that yes some of the issues are with the game, such as the ea master server disconnects, but some issues possibly arnt, such as the horrible lag/framerate drop after playing for a few minutes. Now i guess it can be considered that its due to 2142 but i havent pinpointed the problem so i wont say for sure.

I probably could have gone with just bf2 for about 6 months to a year longer with poe2 but the wait for fh2 really made me want to get away from bf2. As far as i can say the mod support has be crap for bf2 and its probably due to ea/dice limiting what modders can do with the game.

And i know that some of ya arnt gonna buy it which is fine with me, but even though its using the basis of the bf2 engine it still provides a different gaming experience than bf2 did and that is why i purchased it. That is why i play the computer games i do because of the different experience each one has.

I understood in BF2 when I unloaded a full clip with my Assault Rifle and someone else had one bullet more...or even the netcode lagged a bit...I would die.

With the super duper alternate mode for each BF2142 weapon (taxing the gamcode/netcode)....killing or being killed is one super duper crap shoot. Indistinct is the best way to describe BF2142 man to man action.

Which is the way C&C:Renegade played...man to man...altho much improved in this go round.

I firmly contend that this series needed another netcode/gamecode and about 14 months of work.
Hell...I toss a nade for my team and I do so...and die...this lame gamecode/netcode doesn't even allow my
freaking nade to go off...when I gave my life tossing one. Talk about medal of Honor....geeesh.

DICE is starting to agree that they screwed up. $$$$$$$$

EA backed up a dumptruck of cash to their door.
EA to DICE..."meet the deadline for our quartly report".
