Serious 2142 Exploit

Im not going to go into detail what it is or how it is performed but needless to say EA needs to take of the issue immediately. I am banning without warning anyone caught doing this on my server and I urge other server admins to be aware of the issue and kick/ban if you see it as well.

Some things to look for:

500+ points per round (up to 2100 points per round)

A score of 300+ with 0 kills and 1 death

Some admins from other servers got together and posted on the EA forums about the issue and the thread was deleted, most likely due to the fact that they explained how the exploit was performed. Please dont repeat the steps for the exploit and if you are an admin keep an eye out for these padders

I attribute it to talent.

I've not come across such ppl exploiting a ranked server for 500 points.

If what you report is true...it needs to be addressed.

yea its a problem, EA stated on their forums that they are resetting the accounts of the most egregious offenders. But for the people that do it lightly its just too many accounts to sort through. Hotfix is definetly in order asap.

So EA new "stats link" actually points out one of their huge exploit problems?

At any rate, that sucks for all the people who are trying to play fair.

I agree that EA's new stats pages will definitely help put a spotlight on those who use this exploit. In fact, I played with the #9 "rated" player robert_1337 the other night.

Do you think he was padding his stats?

Stat padding makes me wonder how really f**ked up your life must be if you need to CHEAT at a computer game to feel worthwhile. Any stat padding should be banned from the game completly.I will never be in the highest group cause I only play for fun not as if my life depends on it. Padding is so gay and all padders need to get a life. I seen something like this on youtube I think pretty bad the bugs that can be exploited in this "BETTER" game of the BF series.

I found one of these when the game first came out with the whole swapping seats in a ship above the enemy titan, some kids doing it on a server I was on. over 2000 points in a round without a single kill

I went and sent these people direct to eacs for you guys

I also sent in the info for this exploit, I believe they already knew about it but wanted to make sure
